CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR ADMISSION MUST BE ON RESIDENCE VISA.

Registration is mandatory due to limited number of seats.

We wish to make it clear that registering the name of the child and attending the interview will not ensure a seat for your ward as this depends solely on (1) the performance of the child in the interview and the Aptitude Test and (2) the vacancy position in the class for which admission is sought.

Registration Procedure:

Duly filled in application forms are to be submitted along with the documents mentioned. A fixed Registration fee has to be paid at the time of Registration. Registration does not imply any guarantee for admission. Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Age Guidelines :

Minimum age limit prescribed for Admission is as follows in the year of admission regardless of when they join.

          KG I - 4 Years complete by July 31

          KG II - 5 Years complete by by July 31

         Grade I - 6 Years complete by July 31

Assessment :

All students on completion of all the application requirements will have to appear for an Aptitude Test in English, Mathematics and Second Language to qualify for admission. The question papers will be based on the general syllabi, not on the current textbooks. As part of school policy we do not admit students in Grade 9, 10 and 12. The Aptitude Test and Personal Interview will be held in the school on a given date.

Admission will be confirmed only when the student qualifies in the aptitude test with a minimum of 60% and the Personal Interview. It is mandatory that both parents have to be present for the Personal Interview of the student. On confirmation of admission, parents will be required to submit a Character and Conduct Certificate from the previous school.

Intimation on the status of application will be sent by SMS or email within 7 days from the date of assessment. If the Grade level applied for is full the application will be placed in the waiting list. Any possibility of a vacant seat arises, intimation will be sent by email within next 5 days.

FOR CLASS: XI

The academic reports of classes VIII, IX and X along with a Character and Conduct Certificate from the previous school are mandatory for admission. Kindly note that admission for Grade XI and the choice of subjects / stream will be considered purely based on the results of the board exams and the stream taken. The school offers a second language depending on the number of students opting for the same.

The following documents are required at the time of admission:

1) Duly completed admission forms

2) 3 copies of the child’s passport with valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID

3) 3 copies of the parent’s passport with valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID

4) 1 copy of Birth Certificate (English version)

5) 4 passport size photographs

6) Original Emirates Id of the child and parent.

7) Original Progress card/Marksheet of the last examination attended.

8) 1 copy of Progress card/Marksheet of the last examination attended.

9) Copy of vaccination record for KG 1 & KG 2 and original vaccination records for Grade 1 and above

10) Character and Conduct certificate from the previous school applicable from Grade 1 onwards.

11) Transfer Certificate in Original attested as stated below:

Students from other Emirates:

a) For students coming from other Emirates the original TC has to be attested from the Ministry of Education of that Emirate.

Students coming from Gulf Countries other than UAE

a) For students coming from Gulf countries other than Oman, the Transfer certificate should be attested by The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by The UAE Embassy of that country.

b) For students coming from Oman, the Transfer certificate should be attested by the Ministry of foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy of that country.

Students from India:

a) For students coming from India, the transfer certificate should be attested by the District Education Officer of the area, from where the transfer certificate is obtained.

b) For students coming from CBSE / ICSE Boards the certificate should be attested by concerned Regional officers.

c) The TC also has to be attested by the Indian Consulate in Dubai and Foreign Affairs Ministry in UAE.

All admissions after mid-June require a studying/discontinued TC which is valid for only 30 days from the last date of attendance. Original Emirates ID of the student and parent is a mandatory requirement at the time of admission. The same will be scanned in an Emirates ID card reader issued by the KHDA. Every parent will have to digitally sign a ‘Parent Contract’ generated electronically as per the KHDA guidelines.
