SEN Policy

Children who are placed on the SEN register have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) / Advanced Learning Plan (ALP) set up. This will list a number of targets that the child needs to attain, and the method and resources that will be used to achieve the target. This will be delivered by the counselor to parents, learning support teachers, and teaching assistants. IEP/ALPs are reviewed termly. Parents are invited to discuss any changes with the counselor at any time.

Parents should ensure that the IEP/ALP is followed. LSA can either be arranged by the school or by the parents if, there is a requirement. However, the expenses for the same have to be borne by the parents.
